I bought this hitch to carry bikes with our Nissan Sentra. Little did I know at the time just how much more useful it would turn out to be! We don’t have a truck or SUV, and so I have used this hitch to pull a small trailer several times to transport items that just won’t fit in the car. My only complaint is that it sits so low and can bottom out easily if I’m not careful (however, this it the fault of the car sitting so low, not the hitch). Overall, I am completely satisfied with this hitch and would highly recommend it! I also had great service from etrailer and will definitely continue to purchase from them!
*A note about ease of installation: I didn’t have many tools when I installed it as we had just moved back to the US from overseas and my tools hadn’t arrived yet. I was able to install it with a multi tool and an adjustable wrench. (I did tighten it down with a ratchet before using it to carry a load.)

Instructions were great, packaging was great, I was excited about the challenge of putting the hitch on by myself. Other than widening the hole, everything went smooth....looks great. I will be a regular customer.....very satisfied
Installation was relatively simple except enlargement for 1/2" hardware was larger than diagram indicated. The "flange" for anchoring the trailer hitch to the tie-down loop on the 2016 Nissan Sentra could have been a little longer. While torqueing the 1/2" bolt the socket was unable to sit squarely on the nut which made attaining the 110 ft-lb of torque difficult. Other than that, the installation went relatively smooth.

The hitch is working as expected I put it on my 2015 Nissan Sentra S R. Even though the directions said it wouldn’t fit my car I made it fit with a very small alteration of my tailpipe. Great part I highly recommend it. I put my bike rack on it and transport my mountain bike. It is rock solid!!

Still working flawlessly after 2 years.
This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first was for a 2016 Nissan Sentra that was totaled. This one is for a 2019 Sentra. It's a good trailer hitch.

It allows me to haul my bike around. It works great.
Took me 2 hrs taking it easy by myself to install on my sentra.i like it and its barely noticeable.
The hitch: the welded tab that bolts to the tow loop does not allow for the nut to fit. I had to straighten the tab and turn the bolt upside down. Itll will work im sure but not how yall described. Also, the hitch adapter is too short. Ill have to cut the bumper to make it work. I dont want to get another extension. One more point for failure.

Sorry to hear that tab caused issues, Victor. I have had run ins with this exact issue on other vehicles in the past and wish manufacturers would quit doing this. There is just too high a chance of the tolerances being ever so slightly off and then this kind of thing happening. Glad you got it to fit though. I do have to point out that the Brophy Hitch Adapter # HT5R you purchased never had a chance of fitting though. If you look at the measurements on the product page (in the pictures), you can see that when measured from pin hole to pin hole, you will get 7". Then when you measure back from the pin hole in the 2" receiver, the edge of that is 3-3/8". This means the pin hole of the hitch you install has to be no more than 3-5/8" behind the closest edge of the vehicle's bumper. The install video we have for this hitch on a 2018 Sentra measured 6" back from the bumper. If you jump to 1:41 in the video (link included below), you can see what I am referencing. I saw you also got wiring. Are you going to be towing? If so, what will you be towing?

I wanted to purchase the correct trailer hitch for my car. I talked to a rep from etrailer and she advised me on which one to purchase. A couple days after I ordered it, I received a returned email from etrailer that I sent before I ever talked to a rep, and he said they don’t make one for my car model. I called them immediately and they verified I was issued incorrect information about the hitch fitting my car. The hitch was delivered on the same day I talked to etrailer. They were amazing, the next morning I had a label sent to me via email and I dropped it off at UPS. They were very apologetic, from everyone I talked to, and their actions spoke loader then words. Their customer service is five star!!!. I will do business with them, for sure, again!!
After finally having time to install my hitch on my nissan sentra. Everything went together smoothly during installation. As of now it is a solid product. The only issue I had was the attachment on the hitch tht lines up with my towing hook needed to be flatter I wasn't able to get the nut on the bolt. A small modification was all I meeded without compromising the integrity of the frame. over I am satisfied.

The order arrived extremely quickly. In two days it was at the front door. It wasn't as easy to install as some of the other reviewers led me to believe. One reason I chose it was the claim of no drilling. I would have much rather drill a hole or two than expand an existing hole to twice its size. I agree with one of the other reviewers that access to the bolts behind the bumper trim was close to impossible. The instructions included in the package were a copy of a copy and left a lot to be desired when it came to seeing detail. The ones on the web page were excellent quality, but seeing the applicability of "2013 Sentra" on the top is a little worrisome when you are installing on a 2017. Working alone, it took me a while, but the final product is great. Using a hydraulic lift directly under the receiver worked like a charm to get it in position.
Product was easy to install and sturdy. Instructions were clear and helpful.
This will safely hold an athlete’s bicycle rack for long distance travel.

I can’t rate the pull or torque, as I haven’t tried it yet. But the hitch came promptly and quickly. My son added the hitch to my 2013 Nissan Sentra without any problem. I recommend consumers who add the hitch themselves have a drill bit for metal before adding the hitch.
Good fit and profile, but passenger side bolts are near impossible to get tight without removing the bumper completely. Have not used it yet but so far so good. We are going to use it for a bike rack.
Have been more than happy with the hitch. Works great for us hauling or bikes.
